What is the most annoying instrument to you and why? People who play it don't count. I say Piccolo because its so noisy and loud, second is clarinet but its not a loud instrument.

Piccolo. And that counts. Because there is just no refuting that.

I forgot the reason.

They are shrill and nearly impossible to tune. When you finally do get it tuned, it'll only last for an average of 4.6 minutes before the thing returns to its original level of extreme sharpness (well, mine's always sharp anyway, and that's how it normally goes). They fill up with spit super quick, it gets caught in the keys and destroys the sound or blocks it altogether. When you finally get the keys clear, the spit gets all over your fingers and hands. Yucky!!! But hey, spit happens. They always need a pad replaced. Don't even think about playing it in the cold if you want it to come close to being in tune (this makes for playing in the Christmas parade...dumb). Volume control...what? I...don't know what that is.

Yes, the piccolo is the most annoying instrument I can think of...but I love it and I wouldn't know what to do with myself if I couldn't play it anymore. So I digress...

For me it would have to be my tenors (not any tenor drum just mine). I say this because Pearl cannot make drums to save their life. If I learn something on a pad or the ground with proper placement of the hands it takes me at the least 30 mins to correct my hands with the harness on. So yeah that's where I'm coming from, I can't play my instrument to the fullest with the drums so close to my body.... But if my tenors don't count for some reason I would have to pick the Piccolo as well.

Dave's tenors.  I've seen how pissed off he gets.  We end up having to spend a lot of time for tenors to basically remake their drums before a show/practice.  Not to mention the rims keep messing up the heads on the tenors and it makes the drums sound like poop.
