I'll add some.

They have about twenty different pieces to lose and put together. That's just deterant from other non-clarinets to take them and play them--it just takes too long.

They have open holes instead of buttons. If your fingers aren't exactly right, it doesn't sound good. It just adds to the challenge of playing an awesome instrument.

They point straight down at the ground. That way, even if you do mess up, no one can hear you.

Their maximum loudness is about twenty decibels. That way, you can practice all night long and not wake anybody up.

And finally, it's not a saxophone. Thank goodness.

alto sax is just as bad.

clarinet is more modest.

alto points up so it can be like "EVERYONE LOOK AT ME!!!"

by the way, everyone totally was looking at cor-cor at all county because his solo was totally bangin.

I've always loved the way clarinets sound; that's why I picked it :) I'm just not good enough to make it sound that way.
